Tom Nicon RIP

What is it with all these models killing themselves??
I just don't get it.
First Daul Kim then Ambrose Olsen and now Tom Nicon... It makes me so sad.
Tom was such a great and sweet guy, hope he founds peace and rest wherever he is now...

Oh dear,
Think that life is more than Money or Beauty. Sometimes that is very tricky cause you don’t realise that the most important things are invisible and totally free…
I think that fashion technologies make great fool of us!

So sad :(
I read news full of probabilistic reasons about his death. Pression of work? Delusion of love? What does it matter, at the end?
The only truth is that it's so unfair to die at 22. So damned wrongful.
Wherever he is now, it must be a place of beauty and happiness. I'm sure.

Rest in peace, Tom.

Really sad. :( Two years younger than me and life already ended..

Ceesie, some anonymous model spoke to Isaac Likes blog (I think this was the first site that told the news about Tom's death) about this tradegy and he/she said:

"People think we are young and beautiful and rich and happy. But we're not. We go to castings and the directors take one look at us and then we're dismissed. You spend your whole life wondering what's wrong with you. Why didn't I get that job? You're competing with your friends, you're away from your family. The pressure is huge. It's not the fairytale life people would expect."

How do you feeling about this quote and whats your opinion, do you agree? Is competition that rough who gets the job between male models too? Does industry treat models so bad? Are models generally unhappy with their job? Sorry, many questions but I'm so interested to know..

love you and your blog!

When life starts meaning nothing to you, and you feel like you're doing the same over and over again. The worst is probably that you don't have anyone to laugh with, to get angry at and so on. And in the fashion jungle it's pretty hard if you're alone, you meet people that seem like they truly like you but outside of business (and rubbing shoulders) they don't really give a f*ck. That's why it's so important to stay sane, stay in contact with the good old "true" people from your past.

Well Cessie, I hope you're having a blast in Tokyo - and remember, not matter how famous you get, don't forget to live!

Have fun dear :-*

I know that people say that suicide is the cowards way out, but I think it kinda takes courage to actually go through with it. The idea of death completely scares the s*@t out of me, so I can't imagine how someone could resign themselves to believing it would be better to end it. The lose of a life at such a young age is truly tragic. My heart hurts for all of Tom's friends and family.
